Meet Save Our Shelton

We're your neighbors, your friends, and residents of Shelton.  Shelton is a former mill town on the lovely Housatonic River whose residents value its character, its history, and its pleasant mix of residential and business areas. But Shelton is turning into a congested mess with high density development and poorly planned retail spaces everywhere. Greedy developers want to transform Shelton's valuable open space into asphalt and strip malls. They don't care what happens afterward.  And we have to suffer the consequences over and over.

We believe Shelton should listen to resident concerns and respond. We can be found at P&Z Meetings, Board of Alderman Meetings, events around town, and even spending time with our families!

Do you care? Of course you do! Do you find Shelton government overwhelming? Sometimes it takes one person asking the right question at the right time to change how things work. Be that person. Support your city with your hard earned dollars, your volunteer time, and your presence at town meetings. Just being there makes a difference. Help us to help you and your family to have a beautiful place to live.

Why do you love Shelton? Is it the strip malls? Is it the frightening traffic? Or is it the little bits of peace - the kind neighbors - the scenic roads - that keep shrinking with each Planning & Zoning 'yes' vote?
